The 2024 Salomon Addikt Pro puts the fun back into piste skiing, and we have managed to get some before the full release next season. It's not just the radical looks that'll have you grinning from ear to ear, one run down the groomers on these will have you feeling like a piste ripping God. The 66mm waist has lightning quick edge-to-edge response and a powerful wood and Titanal core with full camber guarantees ultimate edge hold while you're carving the slopes up. Blade Technology, taken from the race department, helps to fuse the feel of a race ski with all day usability. So, if your perfect day is blasting around the hill railing on your edges then you may have just found your new ski and you won't be disappointed! Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type Pistes are the natural home, looking for the space to let loose and push the speed up. The short radius means it loves to ski the fall line and attack tighter spaces, but it it still feels good in wider turn shapes. It is surprisingly good off the side of the pistes too. Sure, it won't feel as smooth or stable as the all mountain specialists but it will leave the majority of one-dimensional piste models in it's snow trail. Skier Type These are all about the piste. Great for the skier who loves the feeling of carving up the groomed trails but wants something a bit easier to use than a dedicated race ski. Super nimble and quick edge-to-edge with a tight radius for that racy style handling. Overview Shape 66mm under foot makes them really lively and snappy edge-to-edge for the ultimate carving feeling. Rocker Racing Profile. Full camber for the maximum grip and rebound. Core The Full Poplar Woodcore offers stability, lightness and liveliness while ensuring good ski-to-snow contact. Construction Recycled ABS Sidewall construction ensures excellent grip and precise control. Key Features Blade Technology By fusing flexible polymer inserts into the Ti layer, this innovative construction maintains the ski's stiffness but adding the liveliness needed for high speed through the turn. Motion Tail The Motion Tail technology increases the flexability of the tail by 5% for a more forgiving yet responsive all-day ski Size (cm) Tip Width (mm) Waist Width (mm) Tail Width (mm) Radius (m) Weight (g) 156 163 120 66 104 12 1620 170 General Information Skier Ability: Advanced|Expert Terrain Type: Piste Rocker: Full Camber Radius: Short Base: Sintered Bindings: Integrated,Z 12 GW DIN: 4 - 12 Construction: Full Sidewall Core: Wood, Carbon, Titanal Laminate Demo: Demo: Yes Sizing Description: Chin to nose height is ideal for quick responses and easy handling. Read more about Ellis Brigham
Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
