The S/Pro Supra BOA 95 W from Salomon reimagines the classic 4 clip boot construction, offering an innovative design that promises superior foot hold with improved performance and comfort for medium volume feet. In place of the usual clips, a new BOA cable system with five contact points is used to provide amazing wrap around the foot while reducing the potential of uncomfortable pressure spots. The lower boot tightens with a simple twist of a dial and can be easily loosened or entirely de-tensioned when putting on or taking off. The boot also utilises Salomon's renowned Custom Shell technology, which allows quick and easy heating during fitting to mould the shell to the shape of your foot. Additionally, the boot features a customisable My CustomFit 4D Sport, which incorporates Salomon's smart Talyn material, specifically designed to secure and shape around the ankles and enhance the fit and feel of the boot further. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
