Ingenious Edibles Salted Caramel Icing Sugar has a concentrated natural flavouring that can be added to baking mixes, buttercream, meringue, macarons, cheesecake, fudge and so much more. As a rough guide, 1kg of mixed product can frost up to 24 cupcakes or a 10" cake. Made in the UK from locally sourced products. Each sachet contains 50g. Buttercream Recipe: Mix 50g of powdered flavouring into 1kg of sifted plain icing sugar and combine well. Beat 500g of room-temperature unsalted butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add the icing sugar mix to the butter. Add 2-3 tablespoons of hot water to the mix and beat until light and smooth. If preferred, add 2-3 tablespoons of milk, cream or condensed milk. Other Recipes: Mix your flavoured sachet with sifted plain icing sugar to make up the required amount (50g of flavouring to 1kg of plain icing sugar makes 1kg). To allow flavouring to infuse into the icing sugar, add to a ziplock bag or airtight container for at least 24 hours before using the recipe. When using in recipes, simply replace the quantity of sugar required in the recipe with the flavoured icing sugar (prepared as above). This can be used in a huge range of recipes, including cakes, cupcakes, frostings, fudge, ice cream, brownies, biscuits, marshmallows, meringues, sweets, truffles, chocolate, milkshake, smoothies, scones, pancakes, caramel and so many more.
