This Vintage Puffin book is in fine condition All 222 pages are present and clean no markings the pages are yellowing due to age the spine is in condition and tight corner of back page showing thumbing marks and small paper tear at bottom of spine otherwise this book is in fine condition for its age and will delight any child A Garden Of Verses by Robert louis Stevenson This delightful little book is a vintage 1974 edition of A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson. A beautiful book of poetry for children of varying lengths and topics. "These are rhymes, jingles; I don't go in for eternity and the three unities.' Robert Louis Stevenson wrote to his friend Sydney Colvin of these verses, 'I would just as soon call 'em "Rimes for Children" as anything else. I am not proud nor particular.'. With many wonderful illustrations throughout the text, this would be a lovely gift for the younger reader. This book is in good condition all pages are present and clean with no markings the spine is in good condition book has a little thumbing ware on corners but overall a lovely book for its age. The name and address of previous owner is present on inside of front cover.
