Height-adjustable designer pendant lamp One Eighty made of black aluminum Awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2010 and nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2011 - the pendant lamp One Eighty is an award-winning masterpiece. It doesn't always have to be attributes like ostentation and flashy colors to stand out from the crowd, as One Eighty impressively proves. Simple elegance in color and shape is enough for this pendant light to perform at the highest level. A narrow cord pendant connects the canopy with the lampshade. Both were designed in perfect symmetry with each other. Gentle lines describe the exterior of the shade and seem to guide the light to its destination. The matte black surface of the high-quality aluminum appears light, unobtrusive and is marked by simple elegance, which is welcome in almost any environment. In order not to forego a visual interruption of this otherwise very homogeneous color scheme, the canopy and shade have been provided with nickel-plated decorative steel rings at their two ends. This creates small but quite perceptible light reflections that add a small highlight to the elegance of One Eighty. The question of for what purposes the pendant lamp is suitable, is quickly answered. For almost all! One Eighty was deliberately designed so that the shape, design and color do not impose any limits on it. Individually above the kitchen table, in several above the dining table, as a solitaire to illuminate the living room table or even lined up above a bar - all these are places where One Eighty comes into its own perfectly, both switched on and off. Finally, to complete the advantages of this designer lamp, it is worth mentioning its height adjustability (by means of cable lift in the canopy) and dimmability. Between 80 and 210 cm, it realizes any height, fully adapting to the height of the room and personal preference for widely diffused or focused light. Brightness regulation is made possible by an external dimmer. At the latest now it becomes clear why One Eighty has more than earned its award as a designer piece.
