Giving seedlings a heated environment helps them to germinate, so using these propagators enables seedlings to be brought on early in the season, ready to be planted out as soon as the weather permits.. Measuring 80cm wide by 20cm deep and 20cm tall, they can be either directly filled with soil and planted up, or have separate pots placed inside with a variety of different seedlings. Whichever planting method is decided on, the soil will be maintained at a heat of 70 degrees fahrenheit (approx 21 degrees centigrade). The temperature is controlled by the thermostat.. The clear lid can be easily lifted off and placed back on (held in place with moulded ridges) and it comes with 2 adjustable vents, enabling the humidity to be controlled as required. The UK 3 pin plug comes with a cord length of 170cm, enabling the propagator to be placed in position to get as much light as possible - helping the seeds to get the best possible start in life.. Please Note: the propagator lid will have condensation on the inside when operating - due to the heat from the soil. This can lead to water dripping from the edge of the lid.
