Ships And Seafarers Of The Orient
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
An unusual book, beautifully illustrated with interesting and informative text by Victor Hatcher. It tells of the different types of trading ships that could be seen in the waters around South east Asia from the 18th century onwards. it depicts how these ships were built and how they were manned. The coloured pictorial boards are in good clean condition with a little wear to the spine ends. The front end paper has a scuff mark at the top front, otherwise the pages are clean and bright. The front of the print block is a little grubby and spotted.
