The 7' x 7' Abri Apex Garden Shed, an exquisite version of the traditional wooden shed, you can store a lot of garden tools while still having an eye-catching element in your garden. The crisscross opening window complements an already attractive and functional feature in any garden. A tongue and groove floor is included with this shed. Shiplap tongue and groove walls are more weather resistant and have a superior finish than an overlap or shed with only tongue and groove boarding. The wood is sourced from environmentally beneficial, slow-growing forests. Slower growth results in tighter grain, greater strength, and a longer lifespan. This is in contrast to the fast-growing timber used on lower-cost shelters manufactured by other manufacturers. The shiplap tongue and groove pattern improves the weather resilience of the building. The Abri has a strong planed 35mm x 35mm structure (walls and floor) that lends it strength. The floor of the shed is made of high quality 12mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding. The shed's roof is made of 11mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB) with integrated roofing felt. The walls are built with 12mm thick softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding. The windows are appropriately morticed and tenoned. They have an aperture, are profiled, and are weather resistant. The window has a unique contoured 'lip' that covers the aperture of the opening in the panel, making it weather resistant. Casement stays feature two levels of opening. The glazing is 3mm horticultural glass, which many other manufacturers do not utilise as standard. All glazing is held in place by pre-mitred contoured beading (no awkward corners to be cut). The doors are ledged and come with a padbolt. Please keep in mind that all measurements are approximate, since Shire's garden structures are built using metric measurements. All Shire garden buildings are pre-treated on both sides with a golden brown water-based industrial solution (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire suggests that you apply a water-based top coat of your choice. This will protect the lumber on your shed from weathering, allowing it to last longer, and will need to be repeated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Flat-packaged for convenience of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price, as are clear and simple instructions.
