This wonderful garden shed is available at a modest price while still giving exceptional quality. It is built to a simple design from high quality timber. Throughout, top grade lumber is used, which is acquired entirely from Scandinavia and Siberia, where the best shed timber is produced. Because the lumber is tight-grained and produces less sap, it is more durable than the faster-growing timber used by other shed builders. The overlap structure enables for effective water runoff and helps to keep the shed dry on the inside. For security, a door hasp and staple (no padlock included) are provided. The shed's roof and floor are made of water-resistant Oriented Strand board (OSB), which has similar qualities to plywood. OSB is a high-quality 'Solid Sheet Board.' The shed floor also has floor joists, which give the shed a solid, substantial feel and a higher load capability. All Shire garden buildings are pre-treated on both sides with a golden brown water-based industrial solution (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire suggests that you apply a water-based top coat of your choice. This will protect the lumber on your shed from weathering, allowing it to last longer, and will need to be repeated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Flat-packaged for convenience of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price, as are clear and simple instructions.
