Established in 1997 by the Avery Family, Sileni Estates is named after the mythical companions to Dionysus, the Greek god of wine. They're based in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand's oldest and second-largest wine-producing region, where long sunshine hours create ideal conditions for ripening grapes. Chardonnay is one of the region's flagship varieties, and this exclusive bottling is a fantastic example of the quality Hawke's Bay is famed for. It's partly aged in French oak barriques, giving it a moreish, rounded texture while still letting the fruit flavours take centre stage. You'll find it rich with layers of citrus and stone-fruit flavours, plus a vibrant acidity and subtly creamy texture that'll pair beautifully with salmon or creamy pasta dishes.
