Silk Alike thread is a unique threading material that offers the best quality of synthetic silk beading cord. Made from 3 strands of long, synthetic fibres, this thread is exceptionally durable, fray resistant and does not stretch; making it perfect for all stringing tasks including more abrasive beads such as rough stones or metal beads. Its zero stretch properties also make it ideal for pearl stringing. This long, 60.3 metre reel of white, size 2 Silk Alike is approximately 0.35mm in thickness and can be doubled up to create a stronger strand if required. Can be used without a needle if preferred.
