Opalflex(r) is the name of the material that gives the lamp the appearance of being made of fabric. In reality, however, it is a type of plastic that creates this unique effect. The shade is made by hand in Italy. Unique luminaire creations made of unique materials - this is what designer luminaire manufacturer Slamp from Italy stands for. Since 1994, the Italians have been manufacturing products that stand out for their very special lighting effects. These lighting effects can be created by the specially developed and patented materials, such as Opalflex(r), Crystalflex(r) or Lentiflex(r).
