Made in the same way as my other leaf/seed items this necklace is a maple seed pod which has been treated with silver paste & then fired to leave its impression in solid fine silver - 99.9% purity. The paste is an eco friendly product containing particles of recycled silver & the chain & fastenings are supplied as 100% recycled. I spend time choosing each seed pod for shape & size. This makes it completely unique. The helicopter measures approximately 3.5 x 2.5cms, & the chain is an 18/45cm fine trace chain. However due to the nature of this process each piece may vary slightly in size & shape as each item is truely unique. I use Maple pods rather than Sycamore as for me they have a nicer shape & tend to be smaller, they belong to the same family as sycamores. Complimentary earrings available. See separate listing. Handmade in my Herefordshire workshop this necklace comes boxed & packaged for delivery by Royal Mail, along with a small card descibing how this individual item is made. Caring for your silver jewellery: Humidity, oils from your skin, perfumes, lotions & hair products & other substances can stain & tarnish silver jewellery. Store your jewellery in a dark dry area such as a jewellery box or drawer. Allow enough space for each piece so they do not damage or scratch each other. Silver jewellery can be cleaned simply by polishing it with a soft cotton cloth which may be impregnated with a silver cleaner & anti tarnish agent for greater effect, although care should be taken if delicate gemstones are a feature.
