The official account of the British Graham Land Expedition 1934-1937 by John Rymill with two chapters by A. Stephenson and an historical introduction by Hugh Robert Mill. A major discovery of this expedition was that Graham Land was part of the Antarctic Continent and not an archipelago, as was previously thought. Includes fold-out map and 32 photographic plates. 1st Edition 1939. In very good condition with dust jacket. this is in a protective plastic sleeve with chipping and some missing parts as shown. Sunning to cloth spine and edges, spotting to page edges and some pages.
