Speeches Of Oliver Cromwell 1644 - 1658
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
This book contains a variety of speeches Oliver Cromwell presented between 1644-1658 during his time in office. this book is a key part of history that we never got to experience, but the record collecting of his speeches allows us to look at the way that Cromwell presented his speeches, who they were focusing on and an insight to English society. This book includes in the preface about how the speeches were recorded in shorthand so there may be some inaccuracies on what was written down to what was said, however this is not to say they are fully inaccurate. This book is a great addition to anyone's libraries focusing on past figure in England as well as a great restoration project on a classic! This book is in a fair condition and will need the hardcover spine cloth repaired. Gilt on spine fading. Ex library book so usual markings and inserts are in the book. Other than library markings, pages are clear of other markings and in good condition. Binding is sound but due to damage on the spine, has the potential to become loose.
