The Sterling Silver Unusual Opal Ring by Kit Handmade. This cute opal and silver ring is a real eye-catcher. Set on an irregular shaped, beaten silver background and mounted on a 2mm band, this is one of my favourite creations. The background piece was created by melting the silver into a large bead, and then beating it flat, giving a warm texture. The opal shimmers different colours in the light and the overall effect is one of individuality. If you require a different size, I will make one for you. However, due to the complexity of the process, please allow a week or so for me to complete your piece. Gemstones vary in colour, and I will do my best to find you a lovely shimmering stone. Clearly, each background set is a one-off, and the shape will differ if the process is duplicated. Your ring will be completely unique to you.
