Subsurface Palynostratigraphy Of Northeast Libya

A Research Project, sponsored by Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO). Contents are broad, and as pictured. Very good condition. This volume presents the synthesis of the results published earlier in the 'Journal of Micropalaeontology,' Volume 4, Part One, 1985. The study encompasses several sedimentary sub-basins, situated on the northern foreland of the central African Craton. The knowledge of the biostratigraphy of this region was poorly known until 1960. Between 1960-1985, the oil industry carried out extensive drilling programmes which resulted in the availability of material for the first time for study. Forty wells were selected for this study and they appear to offer the most complete available stratigraphic sequence to date.
