1950. The second edition of this work on Norfolk and Suffolk architecture by M. R. James. First published in 1930. Illustrated by G. E. Chambers with monochrome vignettes, numerous plates of line drawings and twenty four photographic plates. Collated complete. This work was written by M. R. James, an English author and medievalist scholar, with this work discussing the beautiful and historic architecture in Suffolk and Norfolk. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. The red dust jacket is rather ragged particularly on the spine, but the text is clear. The boards are lightly worn on the edges. Some tanning on the endpapers. Decorative frontis. A very nice copy overall.
