Climbing performance meets hiking comfort in the Tecnica Men's Sulfur GORE-TEX. It is a fast-moving approach shoe that delivers grip, precision, and performance for technical terrain. The Sulfur upper is shaped around a specific anatomical last that delivers a precise, wrapping fit. A unique underfoot construction adapts to the shape of your foot thanks to Tecnica Adaptive Shape Technology, which combines different density EVA memory foams with pre-shaped thermoplastic inserts and an Ortholite footbed. The extended to-the-toe lacing system supports the wrapping fit at the forefoot and toe box and allows for precise lace adjustment for climbing steeper ground. The Edge Frame plate at the core of the shoe provides stiffness and support for climbing while still allowing the shoe to flex where needed. Longitudinal elements improve rigidity at the toe and midfoot, and cut-out sections increase mobility. The Sulfur midsole contains two foam densities: a higher density area from the toe to the midfoot for stability and a lower density area underneath the heel for greater cushioning. Its rocker profile promotes a smoother heel-to-toe transition. The Vibram Megagrip outsole offers superb grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The multi-directional lug pattern is ready to take on different terrains while a flat climbing zone at the toe gives advanced precision for slabs, ledges, and edges. Under the arch of the foot is a rubber grip with 'teeth' for slippery ridges, as well as via ferrata rungs and ladders. A lightweight rubber rand provides additional protection and abrasion resistance on the move. The Sulfur also features a robust back loop that helps you to pull on your shoes and enables secure attachment at the back of your harness.

Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
