The Amateur's Guide To Architecture
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
A rare 1896 edition of S. Sophia Beale's book, "with numerous illustrations". In her introduction, the author, a teacher of young ladies in Albany Street, London, observes, " Architecture is, of course, a very wide subject...but ...every educated person...ought to have some knowledge ...of the elements of Architecture." A delightful, hardback, volume, with some signs of wear and tear but in good condition for its age.
