A slim 29 page booklet with stapled paperback covers in a Good condition. Written by R Panau and published by Fremont Publishing Co., Verdun. Not dated circa late 1940's. An historical account of the Expeditionary Forces of the American Army's involvement in the First World War on the battlefields of Verdun in France with emphasis on the monuments to be found in the area commemorating those events. Followed by a short account, 26 years later of the American forces involvement during September 1944 in the same area during the Second World War. Size 12mo (up to 7 3/4" tall), b/w illustrated, 30 pages.
