A collection of facsimile contemporary documents, first published by Jonathan Cape and reprinted by Jackdaw Publications. This Jackdaw deals with the Armada and has 10 sections, including a map of the whole course of the Armada from its entrance into the Channel to its return home, the Adams map of the defences of the Thames, contemporary engravings of Armada ships, and portraits of Lord Howard of Effingham, Sir Francis Drake, Queen Elizabeth I and Philip II of Spain. All documents are present in a yellow portfolio (35.5 x 22.5 cm.). Portfolio shows wear, with one stapled side reinforced with larger staple. Some documents browned.
