Thomas James Cobden-Sanderson (ne Sanderson; 2 December 1840 - 7 September 1922) was an English artist and bookbinder associated with the Arts and Crafts movement. This book is a significant essay about The Arts and Crafts Movement printed at the Chiswick Press. Original vellum backed boards, black lettering on spine. This is an ex- library copy with pasted paper library details on the endpapers ( Folkestone Public Library) as well as a number of London School of Printing stamps throughout the copy ( see photos). The darkened boards have scuffed edges and a stain at the bottom of the front cover. There is some foxing of the pages.
