'The Bookman' was a monthly magazine published in London from 1891 until 1934 by Hodder & Stoughton, a catalogue of current publications that also contained articles, reviews, advertising and illustrations. B&W illustration throughout. This volume includes issues no. 139-150, and includes articles on Robert Burns, John Milton, and Edward Fitzgerald. The book itself is in fair condition, it is an ex-library book with the related stamps and indicators. Externally, the boards are edge-rubbed and the cloth on the spine is torn in places fully separated from the spine itself, however the binding still holds. Internally it is clean and clear, waiting to be read.
