Signed by the Author The book is a collection of essays, or notebooks, recording memories of Avis's association with the brewing trade; some essays contain material which overlaps, and the reason for this is that each essay is intended to be read separately, and, the reader may make their own choice in the order of reading. The trade that Avis was born into changed dramatically over the course of his life, with its traditional structure of interlocking manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing facets, and its closely controlled operations by law and custom being severely and dramatically changed. It is Copy No. 63 of 200 and is signed by the author. Condition: Good. The book is in good condition with straight pages and tight binding, there are some marks on the cover and the top right corner of the cover is creased.
