2002 edition of Nikolaus Pevsner's Buildings of England gazetteer covering the county of Northumberland. This series is the bible of historic buildings. The first edition of this book was originally produced in 1957 before the introduction of new county boundaries. As a result it includes Tynemouth and Newcastle. The text is accompanied by maps. drawings and monotone photographs. There is an inscription in pen on the first blank page but otherwise the volume is in excellent condition.
