The Classic Growhouse from Harrod Horticultural New

The Classic Aluminium Growhouse is designed to stand anywhere in the garden and at 6’0” (1.81m) tall, provides plenty of growing space inside while not dominating the garden like a traditional greenhouse. The extra 3'4" depth maximises growing space and allows taller crops such as tomatoes to be placed in the Growhouse while keeping the shelves in place.

Sliding doors provide easy access into the Growhouse and allows infinitely variable ventilation – just an inch or so in the early spring to wide open in the summer. In addition, the roof panels slide open for superb summer ventilation.

The Aluminium structure has a 25 year framework guarantee and stainless steel fixings – designed to last a lifetime! Ground fixings are included, for bolting to a firm base such as a patio or concrete.

The 4mm toughened safety glass provides excellent light transmission and traps early spring heat much better than plastic sheets, and unlike plastic will not go milky with age. The glass will not flex in strong winds or under snow loads.

The Classic Growhouse includes 4 deep seed tray shelves, which can be adjusted for height and can be removed or dropped flat when not required in summer. Strong but slim aluminium bars reduce shading of the plants below. The toughened glass centre staging lets light down to the lower level and is rated to 25kg per sheet. One or both of the two staging sheets can be removed in summer for taller crops.

The mist watering system will water the top and bottom layers of the Growhouse and has a fine spray nozzle on each layer, suitable for delicate seedlings. Connects to the hose with a standard hose fitting.
