Dal-Segno 1992 Original performances from original piano rolls played on a new concert-grand piano and recorded in 1992. The rolls are actual performances recorded for mechanically reproducing pianos by the great composer and interpreters between 1904 and 1935. Wilhelm Backhaus (1884 - 1969) was born in Leipzig and was one of the great pianists of the 20th century. He was a prolific maker of piano rolls, making nearly 200. Tracklist: 1.
