The Hanna-Barbera Treasury is a very comprehensive tribute to one of the most famous studios in the history of film animation. This book can truly be said to be aimed at all age groups. Sober accounts of the history of the studio weave their way through hundreds of illustrations of all the characters it put on screen. These include the Flintstones, Yogi Bear and Scooby-Doo. This book, published in the US in 2007, is a vast album of freeze-frames interspersed with narrative and much more. Cards, transparencies and booklets were glued onto certain pages in each copy. Many of these extra items were packed in sealed envelopes, but a few consist of cards inserted loose in unsealed cardboard pouches. The pouch on page 72, issued with four cards relating to the Flintstones, was empty when this book reached us. Otherwise this copy is in excellent condition. Some buyers of used copies think that one of the pictures in the Yogi Bear booklet stuck to page 52 must have been coloured by a child after purchase. In fact they were all printed that way for inclusion in each copy.
