Daniel Odier's interview with William Burroughs (Naked Lunch, The Soft Machine...) presents a fascinating insight into the mind of a literary maverick. Topics of conversation include Burroughs' views on Love, Sex, America, Scientology and Drugs among others. This is the Jonathan Cape Uk 1st edition published in 1970. A small (13.5 x 20cm, 192 page) hardbound volume. Bound in black buckram with gold embossed titling on the spine. Comes with original dust jacket displaying a green watercolour portrait of Burroughs in front of a montage of characters and scenes discussed in the interview. Very Good condition: Very limited bumping and handling wear to the boards. No foxing or internal marking. Dust wrapper is in good condition with only very minor discoloration of the white background on the front cover and one small closed tear (1cm) on the top of the front cover. Dust wrapper is now protected in a mylar sheaf (untaped). Please see photos for extra detail.
