The King's England: East Riding with York (September 1947 reprint of 1941 first printing) This item is a book called "The King's England: East Riding with York" or "East Riding and York City", edited by Arthur Mee (as part of 37 volumes in "A New Domesday Book of 10,000 Towns and Villages) with 201 Places and 128 Pictures. First printed in 1941, this book was reprinted several times: March 1942, April 1943, March 1945, and finally September 1947. The September 1947 reprint is the book presented here. This book is in fair condition. Most of the pages, though browned with age are intact, though sadly some of the pages have been torn out and are not present in the book any more, not to mention some pages suffering from tears. A stamp from the Barnsley Grammar School Library is also present on the last and penultimate pages. Oxfam Books and Music Dorchester attempts to list items accurately but as a used item this may benefit from a professional clean.
