[London:] William Stevens, printer, 37, Bell Yard, Temple Bar. 828p. Price one penny. Some of the illustrators for this volume are: John Gilbert, F. W. Keyl, William Collins, J. I. Jerome. The frontispiece is after John Gilbert, is signed with his monogram below centre right, and is captioned: "The snow sweeper". The colour illustration facing page 687 is after Lance (?), is captioned: "Fruit piece by Lance", and is signed: Kronheim & Co. London. (Probably a Baxter process.) Robin de Beaumont's notes about this volume are on the front endpaper verso.
