Introduction by the RNLI Editor and at the back a short Bibliography and Acknowledgements. 139pp. This is an in-house publication by the RNLI and is one of their Lifeboat History Series. The Mumbles is now a suburb of Swansea, but was an independent community when the first Lifeboat was launched in 1866. Like all such institutions, its history is eventful and exciting. The author lives locally and has written other books on The Mumbles and Swansea. This copy, as new, PS19.99
