The Nature Book: A Popular Description By Pen And Camera Of The Delights And Beauties Of The Open Air (3 Volumes) (1912-1913) Published By Cassell And Company, Limited. Volume 1: 1912 Volume 2: 1913 Volume 3: 1913 This three volume set is in very good condition. There are no internal markings or annotations. There is some discolouration to the front and back endpapers of each of the books. The text pages are remarkably clean however with no signs of foxing and very few other marks or blemishes. The text is legible at all points and the photographs are clear. The page edges and ends of these books are also in very good condition. There is some light foxing affecting the edge of the text block but as the page edges are slightly tinted it is not overly noticeable. The pages sit together incredibly well without creasing or tearing. Externally, all of the books' covers are intact. They have plain, brown cloth boards. There is gilt lettering on the spine which remains vibrant. There is wear around the covers' edges and at the corners. The boards, however, are not exposed. There is some rubbing and staining across the faces of the covers which we shall attempt to capture in photographs for closer inspection. The spines appear in good condition. The material at the ends of the spines is slightly bumped but there is no loss. The bindings of these volumes are tight, the hinges are not cracked and there do not appear to be any loose or missing pages. This is a used set of books in very good condition.
