The Navy Lark 4 by Lawrie Wyman and George Evans The Navy Lark was radio's longest running laughter-maker, keeping the nation on the crest of a comic wave from 1959 to 1977. All at sea in the Senior Service were conniving Petty Officer Jon Pertwee, silly-ass Sub-Lieutenant Leslie Phillips and the constantly bemused Stephen Murray as 'Number One'. Climb aboard and join them again in these classic capers from the '70s as the merry crew of H.M.S. Troutbridge embark on a top secret operation and a voyage to Shanghai... or was it Shanklin? Laughs ahoy. Also taking part are Michael Bates, Richard Caldicot, Heather Chasen, Tenniel Evans and Norma Ronald.
