The second (1970) of the series of Walter Neurath Memorial Lectures given annually each spring on subjects reflecting the interests of the founder of Thames & Hudson. The lecture was given by Hugh Trevor -Roper, the English historian. This volume of 64 pages has lettering to book front, slipcase with matching cloth, 68 illustrations (b&w) and a publisher's label to endpaper 'sent with the compliments of the Directors of Thames and Hudson' . Slipcase is slightly bleached and frayed.
