The Promised Land - Photographs By Bob Jardine
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Bob Jardine came to photography via architecture and sociology. He has worked as an independent photographer since 1984. His photographs have been exhibited and published nationally and are included in the Arts Council Collection. This is his first monograph. The Promised Land is a story of "the new town experience" seen from the inside. The narrative is constructed through a sequence of diptychs, sometimes complementary, sometimes opposing, in which montage is as important as me en scene. The story is, inevitably, open-ended. Very good condition. Some light bumps to corners.
