It was an intellectual magazine dedicated to Scientific Humanism, and notable contributors included Arnold Bennett, H. G. Wells, Sir Richard Gregory, J. B. S. Haldane, Bronislaw Malinowski, Herbert Read, Julian Huxley, Aldous Huxley, Sir Frank Baines, H. J. Laski, Havelock Ellis and Rebecca West. In publisher's original paper wraps. Generally grubby with age, but otherwise good, bindings firm with no loose pages; minimal foxing confined to fore-edges.
