This hardbound book has red cloth covered boards. This copy in three books, 'Wherein are explained', 'The Law of Nature and Nations', and, 'The Principal Points relating to Government' is a 2004 reprint facsimile of the original 1738 edition. The whole book is in excellent condition save for some very slight foxing (age-related discolouration/spotting) to front and back end papers. This discoloration also affects the cut face page edges, however, it is not visible when the pages are open and is very light. Otherwise the pages are clean and crisp. The binding is very sound and the book has matching head and tail bands. Translated into English from the Latin, this book influenced the American War of Independence.
