The Silent Road: In the Light of Personal Experience by Wellesley Tudor Pole Fifth Impression -1978 "Wellesley Tudor Pole OBE (23 April 1884 - 13 September 1968) was a spiritualist and early British Baha'i. He authored many pamphlets and books and was a lifelong pursuer of religious and mystical questions and visions, being particularly involved with spiritualism and the Baha'i Faith as well as the quest for the Holy Grail of Arthurian Legend and founded the Silent Minute campaign, both of which were followed internationally. Some of his visions have been accepted by some people as true." Quoted from Wikipedia "In this unusual thought-provoking and, at times, controversial book the author tells the reader in foreword that i 'should be read with a mind free from preconceived ideas or set opinions" Quoted from the front inside cover. The book is in overall fair condition. The paper cover is in poor condition with rips, tears and wear of the corners, edges and along the spine. The hardback cover is in good condition with no discernible damage or wear. The pages are in mostly good condition with only some writing in pencil on the front free endpaper. No other discernible damage or wear to the pages.
