The Summing Up is a literary memoir by W. Somerset Maugham, written when he was 64 years old, first published in 1938. It covered his life from 1890 to 1938. Book is in good condition for it's age. Black, cloth bound cover with gold gilded lettering on the spine. Gold gilded shape on front cover and imprinted shape on back cover. Slightly flimsy binding and pages yellowed with age. Scuffed cover with small tear and creasing on the bottom right corner of the front cover. Spine slightly jutting out due to age. Dark dots on the top page edges due to age.
