On a midsummer weekend, in a country house in upstate New York, three friends gather on the anniversary of the death of a man related to them all by blood or love. 'The Weekend' is a novel that masterfully paints an exquisitely civilised surface only to cut through it to reveal and dissect the primal truths of life, death, and love. This book shows signs of shelf-wear (some bumping to the spine, creasing to the cover), but is otherwise in very good condition.
