To which is prefixed An account of the life and writings of the author by Edmond Malone, esq. The Third Edition corrected". Vol. 1 cxxiv, 288 pp; vol. 2 427 pp; vol. 3 370 pp. Good condition. Half red leather with red cloth covered boards. Wear to leather at ends of spine, corners and edges, and between leather and cloth on front of volume 2. Volume I lacks its title page, but has a frontispiece engraving of Reynolds. Pencil notes on first blank page of volume 1. Owner's name in ink on title pages of volumes 2 and 3. Occasional foxing and offsetting of text to opposite page., otherwise internally good plus condition.
