Signed by author to title page. Good overall, with dust jacket. From Wiki ....... "Patric Thomas Dickinson (26 December 1914 - 28 January 1994) was a British poet, translator from the Greek and Latin classics, and playwright. He also worked for the BBC, from 1942 to 1948. His verse play Theseus and the Minotaur was broadcast by the BBC in July 1945 and published by Jonathan Cape the following year, along with a selection of his poems. He wrote full-time from 1948 and edited (with Sheila Shannon) Personal Portraits, a series of short biographies published by Max Parrish Ltd. and Adprint, London. He was born in Nasirabad, India. He studied at St. Catharine's College, Cambridge.". "The World I See" was the first of seven poetry books by Patric Dickinson, published over 22 years, all in the "Phoenix Living Poets" series, a series of slim books of poetry published from 1960 until 1983 by Chatto and Windus Ltd. Red cloth covers, with gilt image and title, clean, with only minor bumping to edges. Foxing to endpapers, essentially where not covered by dust jacket. Occasional foxing in page body, but otherwise the copy is clan throughout. Binding remains good. No tears, marks, inscriptions or annotations noted. Dust jacket Fair, unclipped ("10s 6d net"), with minor scuffs and stains, and some edgewear.
