This book is in very good condition and shows very little shelf wear. A.W.Tozer's lasting passion was the subject of worship. In his first recording on the theme he says, 'I want to explain why we were created and why we are here ... that we might worship God and enjoy him forever. ' Worship, rooted in the Bible and historic writings, was the driving force in everything Tozer taught. He was convinced that we suffer from spiritual amnesia: we have forgotten why we are here. Worship is common to us all - but when we discover the true object of worship then life takes on meaning. What worship is truly acceptable to God? Tozer's purpose is to cultivate a spirit of worship in daily living. The book opens with an introductory essay on Dr Tozer, whose life and ministry well qualified him to speak on this subject.
