They Walk in the City, by J.B. Priestley. Hardback, First Edition, 1936. Very Good. Very slight wear to the corners of the boards and spine. Boards are slightly rubbed and marked, but overall Very Good condition. See photographs. A story of two young people Rose and Edward, they briefly meet in their native Yorkshire mill-town and instantly fall in love. They then move (separately) to London and spend most of the book looking for each other. Priestley's views on the world in general are given full vent; the characters are typically well drawn and likeable, very typically Priestley.
