This is a lovely antique brooch set with paste black dot diamonds to a double flower design. A petite example with a 'C' hook fastener to the rear & a pin. This silver brooch measures 21.7mm long x 9.6mm at its widest point & weights 3.8 grams. Circa mid to late 1800's & in pretty good condition for its age. We think that the brooch started out originally as two earrings & then converted at some later point, albeit some distant time ago as there is evidence of old solder. Such alterations & upcycling being commonly historically adopted. A delightful & unusual example of an antique paste black dot brooch. Antique box not included will come in new box.
