These stunning Asclepias plants are great for attracting butterflies and bees to its nectar rich blooms. In the autumn, the flowers are followed by long seed heads that split open to reveal seeds adorned with strands of silken white hairs. Can also be used as a cut flower. Plant bareroots at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Grow butterfly weed plants in any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Once established, Asclepias plants are reasonably drought tolerant and will survive well during dry conditions.
