This Dahlia is a popular choice for informal cottage garden displays, producing stunning scarlet-red blooms which are sure to make an eye-catching show. Dahlia 'Bishop of Llandaff' grows to over 1m high, making it perfect for the back of beds or borders, and has unusual, aubergine-coloured stems which stand out in contrast to its rich red petals. These tubers need to be dug up and overwintered in a dry, frost-free place. Pot up Dahlia plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors.
