Three books of collected stories for children, as follows: 1. Andersen's Fairy Tales (1 frontispiece illustration only, c.1920, Ward, Lock & Co.) 2. Grimm's Fairy Tales (illus. J. C. Armitage (Ionicus), The Heirloom Library Ltd, undated) 3. Mrs Molesworth "Summer Stories for Boys and Girls" (1st edition, Macmillan 1882) Condition variable: Andersen's Tales worn to exterior, firmly bound, badly foxed to fore-edge, but generally clean inside, gift inscription on front fep dated 1924, plus previous owner's name in pencil above. Colour frontispiece and colour illustration pasted to front cover. Grimm's Tales rather poor (missing front fep, back cover almost detached with webbing visible, pages clean, foxing confined to leading edge, some lovely full-page colour illustrations). 'Summer Stories' in good general condition, with no foxing, previous owner's printed label on front fep, pages clean and bright.
